Review: Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap

Review: Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap

Considering I don't use make up that much, I love using natural or organic products. Maybe because I want other people to see my natural beauty. I don't want to use any Bb creams, foundations, blush on, something like that. I just want some lipstick and that's it.

Then my friend gave a product that she was using since last year. It is called Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap. I never heard this product. But when I searched about it, I was amazed by this product. Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap age is 100 times my age. I can't believe it. This soap is 400 years old. I never heard any beauty product like that. Maybe the soap is really that good that's why up to now both men and women are still patronizing the product.

Good thing my friend Grace gave me a sample of the soap, because I really want to try it. Actually the soap is written in Japanese so it is really hard to understand it. But since everyone who used it left a feedback about the product online. It gave me a lot of idea on how to use it.

First day of using:
You can already see a difference on your skin. You can feel your skin softer and smoother. And my skin tone happened to be one step whiter than before.

5th day of using:
My skin pores became smaller. The pimples in my face lessened and the acne scars are no longer visible to anyone's eyes.

7th day of using:
My skin became brighter and blooming. My skin discolorations are now even in my original skin tone. It gave me a dramatic change in my skin complexion.

My shoulder...

Using Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap for only a week gave me a reason to use it for the rest of my life. See Uguisu No Fun Illuminating Soap at www.uguisushop.com for more information.

Review - Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in RSVP

Review - Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in RSVP

Ever since the release of the Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow* I've been intrigued by them but unfortunately I could never justify spending £15.50 on one eyeshadow shade - especially on a student budget! I was really excited when I saw this little gem in my goodie bag and an event a couple of months ago!

RSVP is such a great, versatile shade that looks great on it's own or as a base for powder eyeshadows. Once blended out on the lid it looks a lot lighter than in the pan and is a lovely shimmery shade with tones of pink. It's not a bold colour but adds a little bit of something to the eye for a natural and subtle look. It works really well as a single shade, brightening and opening up the eye, but is also a great base for neutral eyeshadow shades.

I've been applying it using my finger and then blending it out with a buffing brush which I find works really well. It also layers really well using this method so you can get your desired coverage really easily. Although this eyeshadow is said to be 'creaseless' I have found it to crease on some occasions. Not in a way that is overly noticeable, but still noticeable none the less. It is however really easy to blend back out again so if this does happen a quick sweep over the eyelid will sort it out! When use as a base for powder eyeshadows it's great! It keeps the shadow in place without letting it crease and also allows for easy blending of the colours.

Before trying this product I though £15.50 was a little too much for a single eyeshadow but after trying it and becoming aware of it being great not only as a single eyeshadow, but also as a base colour, I think I would happily purchase another shade!

Have you tried this or any other shade from this range?

Review - LUSH Oatifix Fresh Facemask

Review - LUSH Oatifix Fresh Facemask

Considering I don't have a bath without using at least one Lush product it's surprising that this is my first Lush product review - can you believe that?! When I go in to Lush I tend to be more taken in by the bath/wash products than I do by any of their skincare, so this facemask is my first skincare product from Lush. I've always been a bit put off by their facemasks because of their short shelf life and often wondered if I would use up all the product before it 'went bad'. Anyway, I decided it was about time I tried one since their often raved about by other bloggers and I'd never tried a fresh facemask before!

I picked up the Oatifix mask as it has been designed for dry and sensitive skin - perfect for my skin! I must worn you now this mask literally smells good enough to eat. It smells like food. It's fruity, sweet and just lovely! It actually took a lot of willpower not to test if it tasted as good as it smelt, haha. The main ingredients in this facemask are oatmeal, bananas and almonds - all perfect ingredients for helping out sensitive skin!
The mask was a little difficult to apply just because it tended to fall apart a bit and didn't hold together too well. I applied it over the sink and some of it did tend to fall off as it was being applied, which isn't something to want on the carpet! It doesn't look like the most luxurious facemask once applied and, dare I say it, looked a little vomit-like (Yup, I said it!). However, it does the job lovely! I left it on for about 10 minutes and once removed my skin felt soft, hydrated and glowing!

For £5.95 you definately get a good amount for your money. I reckon you could get around 10 uses per pot which is excellent. The only downside is that once you buy it you need to use it, otherwise it'll just go bad. I think I will repurchase, however I'm interested in trying some of their other facemasks too!
