Mini ELF Haul

Mini ELF Haul

I found out about ELF a few months ago but since there wasn't anything I needed I couldn't justify the purchases. I decided to wait until there was a shipping offer on which would also allow me more time to decided what I wanted.

On Friday I looked on the site to find there was a £1 shipping offer when you spent over £10. I decided this was the perfect time to treat myself to a few ELF products!

I only purchased a few things as I didn't want to spend too much money (trying to cut down on spending) and to ensure I liked the products before splashing out on loads!
The delivery was really quick. I ordered late Friday night, it was dispatched Monday morning and arrived before I'd even woken up on Tuesday morning! It was very well package as well which I always think is great!

So I got...

Mineral Moisturizing Lip Tint in Rose
Clarifying Pressed Powder in Rosy Beige
Nourishing Cuticle Pen
Defining Eye Brush/Eye Crease Brush
Powder brush
Overall I was very happy with what I got and will probably be purchasing from ELF very soon again!
I spent £12 including postage on 6 products which I thought was amazing considering what I would have spent if I shopped elsewhere.

I have yet to use all the products properly but will most likely be reviewing a couple of them once I have.

Barry M and Technic Nail Polish

Barry M and Technic Nail Polish

I am a big fan of anything to do with nails and I'm constantly swapping the colours that are on my nails. I barely ever get to find out how chip proof they are. I have an ever growing collection of nail polishes but it's never complete and I'm forever adding to it!

Technic in 'Carnival' and Barry M in 'Bright Red'

I purchased the Barry M in 'Bright Red' a few months ago from Boots (£2.99) but haven't got round to using it until now. I really liked the way it applied and also found that it dried rather quickly too! I only put one coat on as I decided to apply the Teachnic in 'Carnival' over the top of it. Although one coat was enough, if wearing it on it's own, I would probably apply two as some of my nail tips where showing through and just to give an overall thicker coating.

The Technique in 'Carnival' was purchased from eBay (£1.95, which I think was a bit of a bargain!) I've been after it for a while so was excited to try it out as soon as it came through the door! I found it really easy to apply although I did apply two coats to 'thicken' the glitter a bit. The glitter didn't spread as evenly as I though it would but I've decided I prefer it being a bit uneven. This also dried nice and quickly.

Although I liked the overall effect of these nail polishes together I think it looks a bit festive. Next time I'm going to try the Technic in 'Carnival' with another, lighter nail polish and see how I prefer that.

I have no yet remove the Technique in carnival but I know from past experience how hard glitter polishes are to remove. Anyone got any tips for this?

How do you like this combination of polishes? Have you tried either?
